Sipnosis

Corta es una película centrada en la extenuación hipnótica que producen los cuerpos de los corteros de caña de azúcar del Valle del Cauca (Colombia). Una contemplación de los gestos del trabajo manual, al tiempo que el paisaje de las plantaciones circundante se descubre, omnipresente, como un telón de fondo mientras las cañas desaparecen. Corta es una experiencia cinemática pura, sobre el ritual natural y cotidiano de un mundo sin tiempo.

FELIPE GUERRERO

Felipe Guerrero (Colombia, 1975) obtiene el diploma en Montaje del Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia en Roma. Trabaja como montajista desde hace más de diez años en películas reconocidas y premiadas internacionalmente. Como director realiza Paraíso (2006) que recibe la Mención Especial como opera prima en el FID Marseille, y fue seleccionada en un amplio circuito de festivales. Corta (2012) fue estrenada en el Festival de Rotterdam y se ha exhibido en festivales y galerías de arte contemporáneo. Actualmente prepara su primer largometraje de ficción Oscuro animal. Reside en Buenos Aires.

Learn how to think the way mathematicians do – a powerful cognitive process developed over thousands of years.

Several students reported that they were only offered four training exercises, not five as stated in the course description. I checked and there were five exercises in the system. I also checked the underlying code, and found it was set to display just four, so I re-set it to 5. It should work fine now. Clearly, there are lots of bugs to iron out in the CPR system (as we expected with something so new on this scale), but so far almost 1,000 of the 1521 students who completed the Final Exam have started to grade papers. Thanks for your patience with this. It's always tough being the first ones to try something new.
